Moving on Out

So I have obviously had a very long lapse in my blog posts. Its not my fault...really..I mean..ok fine I've been lousy with it. Though, I do have a good excuse. My boyfriend and I have recently moved out into our own apartment! It is very exciting to have our place, but also very, very stressful. Right now I'm working on some Fun DIY projects for decorating, so it doesn't feel so much like we live in a crack den :)

I Want, I Want, I Want

SO, I realize that on the streets of Idaho (where you will commonly see lumberjack attire) that these shoes are not exactly practical and realistic. However, I also realize that I have become obsessed with them, and no longer care what the lumberjack-clad people think as I totter by them in my new platform peep toe leopard print wedges I'll be smiling :)

Oh how I love long Summer days. No work, no responsibilities, just fun easy breeziness. We just fried ourselves on the beach in the sunlight and taunted some seagulls with crackers. I'm going to miss days like this when the famous Idaho Winter creeps back up on us. But for now, just sunshine puring over everything :)

Rouge

I just bought the Perfect red lip gloss. It's Maybelline Colorsurge lip gloss in shade 510. I highly recommend! Of course when wearing any strong lip color,it's best to keep your eye makeup to a minimum. A good look is simply peach shadow, black liquid liner,and mascara. Red lips always remind me of a classic 40s to 50s pinup type look, which is classic and is always in style! If you want to add a bit of pinup flash to your wardrobe an easy accessory is a red handkerchief, folded and used as a headband. You could also add some lingerie inspired items, like a silk or lace camisole, paired with tight cigarette jeans and flats or pumps.
